Welcome to June 2025 in Metro Detroit! Summer has officially arrived, bringing long sunny days, warm nights, and a whole lot of hometown pride. The lakes are calling, patios are packed, and festivals light up every corner of the city. Whether you’re catching live music at River Days, kayaking on the Detroit River, or grabbing a Coney after a Tigers win, there’s no shortage of ways to dive into the season. From Juneteenth celebrations to outdoor movie nights and classic car shows, June in Metro Detroit is all about community, culture, and making memories in the heart of the Motor City.

June 2025 is packed with events like the Motor City Pride Festival and Parade, Motor City Irish Fest, The Wiz, 5k Run Run, Saturday’s in the park, and Family Day at Barcade Detroit. May 2025 – What’s Happening

Welcome to May 2025 in Metro Detroit! Spring is in full swing, and the city is buzzing with life, color, and community spirit. As trees burst into vibrant green and flowers bloom across the region, Metro Detroit offers endless ways to enjoy the season. Stroll through the tulip-filled gardens of Belle Isle, catch a Tigers game under sunny skies at Comerica Park, or spend a weekend exploring local art fairs, farmers’ markets, and food festivals. From lively neighborhood block parties to lakefront adventures, May is the perfect time to soak in the beauty, culture, and unmistakable energy of the Motor City.

DAWN Sponsors The Yoga Movement – Yoga At The Zoo!

DAWN happily sponsored The Yoga Movement – Yoga At The Zoo on Sunday, June 29th 2014! It was a very successful event that brought 600+ people together for a great morning of yoga, music and fun. From beginner to expert, Yoga At The Zoo turned out to be a great event for everyone who enjoys yoga or may have the desire to try it.

 

The registration package included:

  • Yoga Movement Class
  • Detroit Zoo on-site parking for the day
  • Detroit Zoo admission for the day

The response to this event has been amazing. We hope you can join us next year!

Save the Date!

Make sure you save the date next year!  The Yoga Movement will all be back at the zoo on June 28, 2015 for more yoga, great music and zoo fun!!

The response and demand have been amazing the event has already been scheduled to take place again. There will already be an announcement of the “Pose of the Month” contest.  Make sure you send your yoga poses from vacation locations across Michigan and you could win two tickets!  The winner will be announced monthly.
