Families can wander through a winding, three-acre trail filled with fantastical sculptures, including animatronics, of dragons and mythical creatures. See 30-plus fantastical sculptures, enjoy interactive, climbable structures, unique photo opportunities, education stations, themed souvenirs and gifts and more.

African World Festival at Hart Plaza

Celebrate the 42nd Annual African World Festival, which is three days full of entertainment, live demonstrations, community resources and information, vendors, and more. This weekend’s event is a well-known summer festival in the Detroit area.

The 30th Annual FREE Michigan Jazz Festival will be held on Sunday, July 20th from Noon to 9 pm with a guitar Jazz Clinic at 11 am. Enjoy 40 bands on 7 stages and Jazz Talk informative and delightful presentations in the Schoolcraft College’s newly renovated Vistatech Center and in the Tent outside. Event merchandise for sale, great food options provided by the Schoolcraft College Culinary Arts Department, and other exhibits.
