Welcome to November 2021! Fall is officially upon us and we have more activities and events for you all to participate in. The spooky season and weather is shifting, but there are plenty of outdoor and indoor activities to keep you busy. Let’s embrace the beginning of the holiday season and have some fun.

Let’s get outside and see what’s happening! Early November 2021 has some fun winter activities, art fairs, parades, Detroit Zoo’s Wild Lights, Moms Night Out, Wine Tastings, along with many events for the kids. Not to mention in these hard times there are still job fairs to participate in! These fun, exciting November 2021 events and activities for you or the kids will help keep you occupied, but we’ve also provided some helpful articles on parenting, divorce and finances.  Let’s find some joy in November 2021.

Northville Lighted Parade

Downtown Northville Parade and ceremonial tree lighting in Town Square. Enjoy the community sing-a-long and visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Hosted by Northville.org.

Moms Off Duty

Craft & Childcare allows parents to drop their kids off (ages 3–9) down the hall, and join other moms for some creative time. Price includes craft supplies for participant, as well as supervision for participant’s child.

 

Thanksgiving Day Parade at the Detroit Historical Museum

Join the Detroit Historical Society at the Detroit Historical Museum to watch America’s Thanksgiving Parade. The parade begins right in front of the museum, at Woodward and Kirby, with several viewing options. General Admission guests will enjoy hot chocolate, coffee and baked goods inside the museum’s Allesee Gallery of Culture and take a seat in one of the curbside bleachers for the best view in the city. VIP Tickets include a continental breakfast and the exclusive opportunity to watch the parade from the Detroit Historical Society’s third-floor offices — featuring sweeping views of Woodward.
