Obtaining Restraining Orders in Michigan
In a divorce either side can ask the court to issue specific orders which restrict certain behavior during a case. For instance, an injunctive order prevents the property in the marital estate from being sold, concealed, or destroyed before a property settlement is reached. An injunctive order also prevents either side from making changes to their health insurance and retirement accounts while the divorce is ongoing.
